Improving Visibility: Proposal for a Monthly BSL DAO Treasury Dashboard

Hey everyone

As BankSocial grows, so does interest in how our DAO functions — especially from new community members and potential investors.

One common ask? Transparency.

That’s why I’m proposing we explore the idea of launching a BSL DAO Monthly Treasury Dashboard that would provide clear, reliable insight into (for example):

  • :white_check_mark: Social Lending Pool (SLP) inflow and outflow
  • :white_check_mark: Loan activity — approvals, repayments, statuses
  • :white_check_mark: Total $BSL staked and staking trends
  • :white_check_mark: Any DAO-managed reserves or liquidity metrics

Why does this matter?

It would help us:

  • Build trust with current and prospective $BSL holders
  • Attract institutional interest by showing off real-world activity
  • Create better-informed governance decisions
  • Ultimately help support the value and visibility of the $BSL token

It’s also a great chance to show what’s already happening under the hood — and that we’re serious about becoming a leading Web3 financial platform.

How could we do it?

Technically, this could be:

  • A simple, public-facing webpage updated monthly
  • Pulling data from Hedera on-chain analytics and our internal tools
  • Possibly integrated into the DAO portal or explorer

Would love to hear from others with dev/data skills on feasibility.

Looking for feedback from the community:

  • What key data points would you like to see in a Treasury Dashboard?
  • Do you see any risks or challenges?
  • Would this help you or others feel more confident in the project?

Let’s make this DAO even stronger — and more transparent — together.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to your input!

Cheers, Rob

Thanks Rob, I think this is a great idea and will be critical in raising awareness and creating engagement.

Hi,

Following up on Rob’s excellent proposal for a Monthly BSL DAO Treasury Dashboard.

I’m really excited by this initiative! As Rob outlined, a dashboard providing clear insights into DAO activity (loans, lending pool, staking, etc.) would be incredibly valuable for transparency, community confidence, and informed governance.

As a full-stack developer within the community, I’d be very keen to contribute and would love to take on the challenge of building this dashboard. I believe this is exactly the kind of project that can showcase our collective strength.

To make this a reality and ensure the dashboard can display accurate, up-to-date information (ideally real-time or with specific filtering parameters), access to relevant data via API endpoints from BankSocial would be essential. This would ideally allow for querying data points such as:

  • Loan funding, repayments, and outstanding totals
  • Lending pool inflows/outflows (BSL fees, repayments vs. loans, rewards)
  • BSL staking statistics and trends
  • (Potentially) Voting statistics and staker APY, as suggested

Beyond just this dashboard, this could be a fantastic opportunity for BankSocial to consider developing and open-sourcing a set of community-focused API endpoints. Providing secure, documented APIs could unlock a wave of community-driven development, allowing others (like myself) to build valuable tools and integrations that benefit the entire BankSocial ecosystem. This could also help address potential constraints on internal dev availability for certain community-facing tools.

I’ve already voted in support of Swami’s proposal and wanted to formally put my hand up to help with the technical implementation, provided the necessary data access can be facilitated.

What are everyone’s thoughts on this? And to the BankSocial team, what might be the feasibility of providing the necessary API access for a project like this, and perhaps for broader community use in the future?

Looking forward to the discussion and hopefully collaborating on this!

Fully support this governance tooling for transparency and visibility especially as we scale . Great thoughts Rob

Sounds great. As for an API i dont k ow that there even is one. That would be a question for @PresidentHODL

Timely and relevant, well done Rob. My only comment at this point is to make the dashboard available to community members only as opposed to the public. This info should be a privilege exclusive to those who are participants.

Thanks everyone, I will now be taking this to a Temp check. Will update TG etc.

Perhaps we could have a ‘general’ view and a ‘holder’ view?
